Yeah, OK, so no one REALLY likes homework, but in this case, you'll get all kinds of important information. Below you'll find articles on What's Out There?, How to Get an Internship, How to Write a Resume, How to Get Your Music Published, and a special section called What Do I DO?.

Ever wonder what kind of college degrees are available in the electronic arts? What's Out There? has a series of articles on just that. What's the difference between an electronic music composition degree and a music engineering degree? How does a graphic design degree differ with a multimedia degree? Start with What's Out There?, where you'll find essays and descriptions on the state of careers in art technology.

The next two sections are pretty self-explanatory. If you're interested in working at a summer internship (and you can do this even while you're still in high school), these two areas will show you how to do it.

The last area, What Do I DO?, is a series of short essays written by professionals working in the electronic arts--each person provides a bit of background on her/himself, including where did s/he go to school, what was the degree earned, etc.. Following this background info, you'll find a short description of what exactly this person does for a living. So, if you or your parents have been wondering what kind of jobs are out there for people with interests like yours, start with What's Out There? and continue reading through What Do I DO?. Now you can read about what others did to get where they are...
